The Last Minute
When’s the best time for this task?
Perhaps now? Or perhaps I will not ask
I’ll tell you what, tomorrow sounds good
The last minute makes me know I should
So why not take our time today?
It’s time to sleep, it’s time to play
No point in worrying what we need
Beyond this, surely all is greed
But hold on there, you know the drill
Inactive minds may soon be ill
We need to look beyond this day
Tomorrow will come, life has it’s way
So reconsider once in a while
If this becomes your own lifestyle
Perhaps now indeed you should begin
Or the last minute comes, and panic sets in
