Flowing Streams

Flowing Streams

Light and life in flowing streams
Let’s seek them out, beyond the schemes
For simple is the way of truth
It doesn’t need a super-sleuth

The world a stage?  We always knew
And everything’s just passing through
The hopes and fears of each mind
Will come and go whilst most are blind

And reading may not bring the way
So much is thought, but what’s to say?
The depth of human-kind is rare
Don’t doubt you’ll find the ones who care

So with this searching, life is born
And once again, another dawn
Excitement rises, floods our dreams
No darkness beats these flowing streams

The Soulless Void

The Soulless Void

The soulless void is here, you know
Don’t dwell on it, just let it go
For it consumes your every hope
Until you can no longer cope

So rise above this beast of doom
It’s Easter-time, escape the tomb
In every facet of our lives
Some hope exists, good fortune strives

The work we do lives on from here
Take comfort in the truth that’s near
With every smile and helpful word
Some great new good once more occurred

We may not see where things moved on
For one day we will all be gone
Let’s help the evil be destroyed
Farewell now to the soulless void

Another Day

Another Day

Here we are, another day
Think what we learned just yesterday
A new horizon looming now
Don’t worry where or why or how

For all shall come to honest souls
There’s more to life than dreams and goals
The nuts and bolts of every task
Are not too far behind the mask

The work we do will soon reach all
And who is waiting for your call?
Responses come and life moves on
All yesterdays again are gone

The message now should be so clear
The answers really must be near
The past has taught, but on the way
Once more for all, another day

Thinking Big

Thinking Big

When thinking big, great changes come
This thought seems too far-fetched for some
Yet every action once began
With simple thought amidst life’s plan

So check the nature of your thought
The power is vast, don’t sell it short
The future will depend on this
A nightmare or a life of bliss

Decisions every day are there
Again with thought we must take care
No fear, but measured choices now
Will future dreams at least allow

For all can be, no limits here
Through many highways we must steer
Enjoy the ride, don’t stop to dig
The best is called by thinking big

The Fear Of Life

The Fear Of Life

Never have the fear of life
It crushes dreams and causes strife
Nowhere to go when in this place
You dare not even show your face

Have courage and the will to win
Then all good things at last begin
The future’s bright and all can see
That soon will come your victory

Some try to hinder, don’t give in
Move forward and beyond this sin
Your life’s your own to use at will
But take good care, have caution still

No-one could know where this will end
Some say they do, but just pretend
A veil of dreams, confusion rife
It’s time to beat the fear of life

Listen Harder

Listen Harder

Listen harder, all is there
Don’t get too lost in what’s unfair
Each has a call, some work to do
So look within and start with you

Complaints will come, and problems too
No matter what you try to do
We sometimes, truly, just can’t win
But learn some more, new things begin

A dream beyond the place we’re at
A trick which waits beneath a hat
So unexpected and sublime
That all will change for good this time

You’ll see it’s time to battle on
The days of thought and rest are gone
With daily deeds we’ll work and earn
But listen harder, truly learn

Who We Are

Who We Are

Who we are is what we do
We say so much, not always true
No lame excuse or strange idea
Just simple truth we sometimes fear

Face up then to the light and dark
Embrace the lion, defeat the shark
Move on to pastures fresh and new
The future is awaiting you

We’re all the same yet so diverse
Expression may become a curse
A need to grow and learn each day
But tread with care your chosen way

The earth is where we’ve been so long
We need its power, we must be strong
Yet minds can move to moon and star
Don’t be afraid of who we are
