Where Is Truth?

Where Is Truth?

Where is truth?  It’s time to ask
And who could be up to the task?
You’ll find so many went before
Not guessing what life held in store

Have caution in the search, my friend
For life is fragile, all must end
But that’s no reason to back down
Find meaning now, in vale and town

The past has more than we may guess
Don’t move too fast amidst life’s mess
Mistakes are rife, and who’s immune?
With too much pride you’ll lose love’s tune

Think deeply then, and make your move
There’s nothing left to lose or prove
And when tomorrow comes around
You may find truth, at last, is found

Who Will Know?

Who Will Know?

Within the fog then who will know?
Will all still reap just what they sow?
Remember this – the fog will clear
And truth comes in, dispelling fear

Think on then, for these times will weave
An action comes from what we believe
It may not be the one we guessed
But somehow someone knows what’s best

Despite our weakness and our doubt
We still can hope, survive the drought
A brighter day now lies in wait
Have courage, things may soon be great

Don’t worry, for that never wins
A brand new story now begins
Our gifts we’ll bring, our lives may flow
It doesn’t matter who will know

Winds Of Change

Winds Of Change

Strongly blow the winds of change
This world at times can rearrange
And all you thought you knew so well
Transformed beyond what you can tell

A strange and happy twist of fate
An answer coming now, so late
Don’t ask the reason for this shift
At times we just receive a gift

The sender lives so far away
Beyond the clouds, no night or day
Another world, another plane
Aware of all our loss and gain

So sleeping we receive the news
And somehow change and build our views
To vistas rich with good intent
A beauty which will not relent

Within this veil of earthly charms
We notice also men of arms
Still hoping war moves out of range
And love’s swept in on winds of change

Love Will Win

Love Will Win

There is no doubt true love will win
It beats the hate and every sin
It trumps the lazy, fights off scorn
It lights the way when we are torn

In fact already love has won
It is why life at first begun
Let’s see through all the world’s disguise
And let love cut its way through lies

No more expecting things to fail
A calmer sea is there to sail
With problems, always means to cope
With light for every upward slope

Saint Valentine goes where he will
He keeps a watch on good and ill
True love is perfect, let it in
If not you’ll lose, for love will win

Talking

Talking

Talking helps the people see
Just who we are and what may be
Both good and bad will come one day
Revealed by what we have to say

And yet the lies may never end
We’ll search forever for that friend
Who speaks the truth and speaks it well
Who wants to help and not to sell

No more excuses, it’s too late
The worldly systems, far from great
What lies beneath?  Who are we now?
Which truths will be revealed, and how?

Think on the happy times now lost
Pursuit of dreams will have its cost
And talk with friends, for we may find
That talking helps to heal the blind

Timeless

Timeless

Timeless is the soul that tries
To rise above the worldly lies
It’s seeking love and nothing less
In such a barren wilderness

To rise and fall each day is tough
When seeking diamonds in the rough
Yet they are there and may be found
They glisten, but without a sound

So music may contain deceit
It’s full of tricks, can have you beat
Make room for silence here and there
A balance makes you more aware

If lost in sound, or other things
You may find you have grown some wings
Then try them out and fly – you must
And timeless are the souls which trust

Truth Will Win

Truth Will Win

Through the years, despite our sin
There’s never doubt that truth will win
It simply is, none could complain
When faced with it, so clear again

So if you’re lost in countless lies
Get ready for a new surprise
For once you take the devil’s road
Then angels bring light overload

Your mind is lifted way beyond
You’d think God waved a magic wand
And all is changed beyond your dreams
To write it down needs countless reams

And know just as a child can see
The keys are there, all may be free
Today’s the day it must begin
Your heart will open, truth will win
